the BUSINESS: Indisputably synonymous with anyone’s recollection of the original surge of the British Oi! movement would have to be South London’s working class skinhead heroes, THE BUSINESS. Shrouded in a mess of urban folklore, bombarded with tons of irrelevant controversy, and full of more perseverance than most new bands have in their little finger, THE BUSINESS are still here after 30 years. Having been instrumental in forming a musical aesthetic often referred to as ‘pub rock’, ‘street rock’, and ‘punk n roll’, THE BUSINESS are indelibly marked by tales of European football games, motorbike excursions, working class triumphs, bar room theatrics, factory life blues, and of course, the unavoidable anthems of the ever-scrutinized drinking and driving. Since forming in 1979, the band has releases more records than even some of the most long standing punk bands, toured all over the world, released records on labels such as EPITAPH, TAANG, BYO, TKO, CAPTAIN OI! and many more, as well as having Lars Frederickson (RANCID) produce one of their records and having shared a split release with DROPKICK MURPHYS. Although, the lineup has changed over the years, the message and the sound has not. Micky Fitz and the boys are poised to keep soldiering forward and keep the spirit of the streets rollin on into the future. Now, joining forces with Sailor’s Grave Records, expect the legacy to continue with strength in 2010 and beyond.
INCITING RIOTS: In 1997, The Beer Goggles broke up. Ugly Lenny went on to play bass with The Confederats; and later, tiltWheel. Tim Boyle went on to play with Uncalledfor. Lenny & Tim came together in 2000 to start Inciting Riots. Dan Skum (drums) completed the band in 2001. Pegadeth joined on second guitar in May 2002. Dan left in July 2003 and was replaced by Matt Bastard a week later. Girth filled in on bass during Tim’s vacation from society…till the end of 2004 when the original 4 piece line-up got back together to kick in the new year! Peggy left in July 2005 and was replaced by Mikey Dietz a week later….and left a few months after. Then, after 2 years of instability, John Klecker joined the Riots and we destroyed our city till 2009. In 2012, Skum moved back to town and the Riots got back together again with the addition of second guitarist, Gaylene. Stay tuned!
the CODE 7′S: Fueled by the absence of legends like Joe Strummer and Dee-Dee Ramone, The Code 7′s push for a level of alarming honesty and integrity not commonly associated with today’s punk rock and roll bands.

FUNERAL DRESS: Sing along Pogo Punk! What began in 1985 as an effort to bring some life in the almost dead Belgian punkscene has evolved into one of the longest lasting bands in their genre. 7 studio albums, 1 dvd, 10 US Tours, tons of shows around Europe, and they ‘re still here.
Late 1986, early ’87 Funeral dress recorded 5 songs for a demo and released their first single “army life”. It was a very basic 4-track recording but it layed out the groundworks for numerous future releases. After this release the band got more and more gigs and started to build up a following. In 1990 they released their first full-length album ‘Free Beer For The Punx ‘. This album contains some classics, such as Sex, Drugs and Rock’n Roll, The pogo never stops, I’m in love with OI and the sing-a-long title track. During the nineties, they played more and bigger shows with bands like GBH, The Exploited, Sham 69, X Ray Spex and many more. They also released their 2nd album ” Songs about sex, beer and punkrock” and did their first us tour in 1998. In 2000 they launched their 3rd album ‘party Political Bullshit’ followed by another us tour with their good friends The Casualties, The Virus and Endless Struggle. In 2001 their 4th studio album ‘ A way of life’ got released, Promoted by numerous gigs all over Europe and another US Tour in 2002. By the end of 2002 some new members joined the band. This line up proved to be the most productive ever and is still together 11 years later. The first single off the new line up “Party On” became an instant hit on Belgium’s national radio and stayed in the charts for 18 weeks. Ensuring them lots of gigs all over Belgium, Europe, Russia and the USA. (Shared the stage with Simple minds, Deep purple, and many more) From 2002 on the current line up released 3 studio Albums: ‘Come On Follow’ (2004), ‘Hello From The Underground’ (2006) and ‘Global Warning’ (2009). They Made an appearance in 2 movies: ‘Ex Drummer’ and ‘Punk’s not dead the movie’ and reached the Belgian charts several times after ‘Party on(. In 2013 they will release their 8th studio album. After 28 years funeral dress is a still alive and kicking and ready to rock your town!
PSO: Locals P.S.O. are a young, promising band of Skate Punks. They also share the same lineup as Jakked Rabbits and some of the same songs.
HOGBOSS is a ummmm… Hardcore…ummm Punk, maybe Powerviolence influenced band from San Diego. Their strained, anguished, pissed vocals with occasional blastbeats bring hints Powerviolence bands that are currently dominating the hardcore SD scene. That being said… these guys f#cking rock, they play fast raw Hardcore Punk but still keep a groove that f#cking rocks. It can’t be stopped. They destroy it!
LOS LOBOS LOCOS
WRECKIN KATZ
NENTINI ROCKNROLL BURLESQUE
$5
DOORS: 8 PM / SHOW: 9 PM
LOS LOBOS LOCOS: As the streets grow empty and the clouds roll pass the nightlight quite as space, Kansas City lost the brilliance once held throughout leave residents without a symbol to bring the life that once covered every corner. From the distant horizon, figures come bellowing through, filling the air with a sound known to soothe any beast within. Although new to the scene, but not the stage; Los Lobos Locos (formed in LA) are hitting the ground running in 2013. After an incredible first year, the band has already expanded their audience base nationwide completing a 3 month tour (+75 Shows) booked in 15 States. Even with the loss of Guitarist Luis Anguiano before heading out on tour and recent loss of Upright Bassist, David Rodriguez, the band “Keeps on Keeping on” no matter the problem. Los Lobos Locos brings a sound that is unique to audience members of any music scenes.
WRECKING KATZ: Aesthetically, Wreckin’ Katz are easily pegged as a Psychobilly squad. They take pride in their textbook, greaser-punk exterior: tight black jeans; big, studded belts; sleeveless vests; and tatted-up arms. They pen lyrics about lost sanity and burning stuff. Musically, however, you’d better be ready to hear some thrash. Vince Salazar, Alex Carrillo and Vic Chavez cite Iron Maiden, Bad Brains and Bad Religion among their primary influences. The only thing remotely rockabilly about them is the dude with an Elvis quaff singing lead vocal and slapping the shit out of an upright bass with speed-freak intensity. He revels in standing on the thing, just brutalizing it, playing eighth notes at 220 bpm.
NENTINI ROCKNROLL BURLESQUE: Who is this little Miss Nentini who likes to be shaken and stirred you might ask? Well, to be quite honest I’m still trying to find that out myself. I saw a movie once which explained life in the cycles of seven. Every seven years there is a total change within our system. It is a soul’s demand to be seen as an individual, not as a collective. At the age of seven, the first realization of self begins to occur. From then on, every seven years we seek to reinvent ourselves and its safe for me to say that I am currently in that state. Previously known as an internationally published model, a gogo dancer, burlesque queen, and a rockabilly socialite has me seeking something else. Though, I still dabble and take pride in all the above, my current interest is to share my adventures of love, the inland empire rockabilly scene, and my career as a beautician. ENJOY!

the KIDS: One of the first groups in Belgium to really tap into the power of the international punk scene which was erupting in 1976-77 were The Kids. Front-man Ludo Mariman in “Wit-lof from Belgium”: “In 1976 we were together in a band called “Crash”. None of us could really play. We just hammered away, hard and fast, sounding like a really bad Velvet Underground. When the first news of the punk explosion in Britain started to come through, I went to London. I wanted to know what was going on over there, and if these guys had the seem feelings of anger I had. I remember the shivers down my spine seeing Eddie & The Hot Rods. I also saw the Ramones and then I knew we had that same music within us. Technically we could handle it, because you don’t have to master the instruments to play punk music”. Formed by three angry dock workers, the group evolved from pure energy on the first album to more varied and songs. Ludo Mariman on the changes the band went through. “Bloody Belgium”, “Fascist cops”, “No Monarchy” and “Rock over Belgium” were the songs which got them started. They played support acts for Iggy Pop and Patti Smith in 1977, and in 1979 they released a single together with Jo Lemaire & Flouze : Jo sang “Tintarella di Luna”, the Kids did a cover of “Louie Louie”. The album “Living in the 20th century” became a classic, they even hit the Hitparades with “Dancing”. Their moment of fame however is the brilliant song “There will be no next time”. After the split of the group in 1985, the front-singer of the band Ludo Mariman, a former professional soccer-player for Antwerp, keeps active in the music business.
the WIDOWS, who have done time in such bands as Flapping Jet/ Swami recording artists Mannekin Piss, Max Bristol and the Weekend Blacks, and The Fastplants. This could be the most fun band from America’s finest city. Although paddling up-stream against a sea of murky math rock and Johnny come lately Stones clones in San Diego, The Widows have stuck to their guns, performing for live crowds at a number of venues with such bands as The Sultans, The Marked Men, The Spits, Deniz Tek, Electric Frankenstein, and even with such diverse acts as Mr. Tube and His Flying Objects, The Creepy Creeps, and Dead Moon. The Widows’ sound can best be described good time American rock n’ roll with a nervous stomach. The Widows have played extensively around Southern California, leading San Diego’s dying rock n’ roll scene into an unfortunate new era of obscurity. It doesn’t seem as if rock n’ roll has the shelf life it once did in these parts. They will be continuing their assault on the Critical Mass scene vowing to have the city eradicated of this nuisance by the end of 2012!

The CHEMICALS(KMKLz) are a reaction to what you know. An acid that eats away at your foundation. A base for which your nation hates. A timeless machine of garage punk sound. Sent here to smash and pound.
the JUNK has proudly acquired the vocal stylings of Riky Barnes (skateboarding hero, punk rock vocalist supreme, motorcycle enthusiast & super dad) while Efren moves over to jam the guitar. Full on five piece wall of sound shit. Think rat bikes and choppers. Knowledgeable miscreants who take limited resources, cut off all the unnecessariesall the gingerbread and fenders and guitar solosto pure, quick-shifting, tire-spinning function. True rat bikes focus on the inward beauty and mechanical soundness, not bolt-on chrome or dentist-and-lawyer-approved paint jobs, not bright cartoons puffed up as motorcycles. The Junk are loud, running straight pipes, there’s no back seat, and the only chrome-like substance is the fillings in their teeth, exposed as they point and laugh in joy as they tear ass down the freeway when the straights and squares are stuck in traffic. Pure punk played well, with a sense of swagger and fun. Is true OC punk peeking its head back up again? I hope so.

the MATADORS: If Hell had a house band that channeled the punk aggression of the Misfits, the theatrics of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins (or Iron Maiden for that matter) and a steroid-fed, whiskey-fueled, rockabilly sound not unlike the Reverend Horton Heat, then that band just might be London Ontario’s The Matadors!
the BUTCHERY BOYS: Sleep with a bible by your side, you better pray to the good lord that we don’t come for you tonight. The Butchery Boys are coming for you! The Butchery Boys are a high-energy, punk-influenced, rock/psychobilly four piece straight outta Southern California’s Low Desert (Coachella Valley). Castoff is a call to end the true institutional class warfare where the working poor and middle class support the rich. Castoff is really just songs about the rest of us. Featuring “We’re Alive”, with Mixi’s addictive chorus, ‘We scream for this moment.’ and the darkly powerful, “Is This The Way You Get To Hell?” Mixi’s full page feature and interview in Revolver Magazine’s Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock, performances at Warped Tour, SXSW and a 10 state US tour are testament to the aggressive drive behind this band. SICKLY HOLLOW

DOORS: 8 PM / SHOW: 9 PM
the SHOCKTROOPERSare three piece pop punk band from the small town of Rock Springs, Wyoming. The band creates a sound similar to early 90’s style punk rock and their debut album contains all the necessary ‘whoa-oh’s’ to complete the pop punk mold. Some of their songs wouldn’t be out of place on a Riverdales album. Recommended to anyone who misses the sound of early Lookout Records! and Mutant Pop Records bands.
the NATIVES represent our city proudly and rock hard. The band is missing nothing, being true to its roots and keeping things fresh and lively. The dance worthy punk with spikey lyrics that would make a sailor blush keep them unique and in their own light.

GRAVEYARD JOHNNYS are an up-and-coming Punkabilly band from the UK who are making a lot of noise. They are splitting the June 2013 Nekromantix tour with The Silver Shine as direct support. From the deepest, darkest depths of South Wales in the UK, The Graveyard Johnnys have devised a recipe that somehow transforms something stale into something fresh. Bored to death by bands sounding and looking like something from 50 years ago, The Johnnys are digging up that rotten old corpse, slappin it around a bit and injecting it with some life so it can survive in the 21st century. In this band there is absolutely no bullshit, just straight up, balls out, good time rock and fucking roll. Watch your backs…
WRECKIN KATZ are a high-energy Psychobilly band who put on a great live show. They have toured a few times and will be a great match to Graveyard Johnnys as both bands have the same rock-n-roll energy, but with different styles.

NIHILIST: In the spring of 2003 Nihilist evolved into a metal trio forgetting everything and everyone left behind; to create a new aggressive sound of metal that you’ll hear today. “By the time finals had begun I was smiling because I had just been treated to a blistering taste of metal provided by north county San Diego’s very own Nihilist.”(automatic magazine). Mixing metal, thrash, and good old skool rock’n roll, this original blend of high energy music gets you out of your seat, banging your head and pumping your fist.“The three peice wins the why are you playing in this little bar when you should be playing with big metal acts award.” (Zakk Jones powerslave.com). All three members grew up in the same town, went to the same high school, and resided in the same nieghborhoods. It’s only fitting that they would come to gather to create a wirlwind of metal known as Nihilist. Nihilist is: Loren Tipton-Bass/Vocals,”What makes this band is Loren Tipton just wait till you hear him growl.” (Troy Johnson FoxRox). Joe Walker-Lead Guitar,”The leads are quick, captivating and filled a metal thirst” (Zakk Jones). Sean Elg-Drums,”Drummer Sean Elg must have sold his soul to satan to play like he does.” (Zakk Jones). Taking their home town by storm, it’s only a matter of time tilll they take yours. They pride themselves on their air tight performances and their skull crushing originals. “The musicianship is lock step assault.”(Troy Johnson). The band agrees that practice is not an option it’s an addiction, and metal isn’t a form of music it’s a religion. Next time you hear the fans screaming Nihilist, take cover. Cause when the bomb drops there will be nowhere to hide, and when the sound hits the crowd, the chaos ignites.
DPI play a highly dynamic and aggressive style of punk rock. The aftermath of a typical DPI show is much like the remnants of a barroom brawl: Punks of all ages dripping of blood and sweat as they make their way through broken glass and beer-soaked floors. DPI has managed to revive a sound reminiscent of early-80′s punk. Imagine the raw power of “early” Black Flag, Adolescents and RKL rising up to give today’s generation a hard kick in the ass. No one is as true to form. This quintet’s presence and songwriting talents remain unmatched by their contemporaries. Having survived the latest SXSW (South by Southwest) bash and the release of their 2013 LP Smashed, DPI is ready to pump out the soundtrack for the next party.
the RED DEVIL SQUADRON are blasting a path across the music landscape of Southern California and beyond. Hailing from south Orange County, these gents wear their allegiance to the swashbuckling lifestyle on their sleeves and take no prisoners! With a sound best described as dirty blues based punk ‘n’ roll with a swagger straight from the high seas.
the GREAT ELECTRIC QUEST have that 70′s boogie Rock n Roll vibe cruisin’ on in.
